The Focus of Chiropractic Care
The most common complaint in a chiropractic office is lower back pain. Dr. Etheredge and Dr. Fahscholtz evaluate the back for asymmetry. With experience, it is relatively easy for our doctors to spot the area of concern. Usually, we see leg length differential, pelvic imbalance, tightness and spasms of paraspinal muscles, and tenderness over the vertebral facet joints. We use our eyes and hands to palpate (feel) the areas in the vertebra that need care. That area is then addressed with our hands or an instrument called an IQ Impulse tool. These methods are safe, effective, and usually pain-free.

My experience with PT is that they are more successful with stroke rehabilitation, and post-surgical rehabilitation. We find Chiropractic to be more effective for spinal complaints. We also are very effective in addressing extremity complaints such as knee, hip, shoulder, and elbow pain.
